COACHING THINK NEW NOW HAS CHANGED ITS NAME TO Bottomline Coaching & Consulting. Please visit us at www.bottomlinecoaching.ca Whether you measure your success in terms of professional or personal pursuits, teaming up with a Certified Life/Professional Coach can be the difference between a "Good Life" and a "Great Life". Professional Athletes have known this for years. That's why they rely on coaches to help them achieve truly remarkable sports feats. Is your success any less important? Coaching is a collaborative process that accelerates personal and professional success. Coaching provides the structure you need to gain greater insight, focus and momentum so you can move rapidly and purposefully in directions that make a difference in your life. As your coach, I become your partner, advocate, champion and catalyst for change. My sole purpose is to help you become remarkably successful; to help you live that extraordinary life you always knew was possible. Who uses a coach and what is the process? Gillian coaches individuals, partnerships, groups and teams. Each coaching relationship begins the same way and includes an initial intake session and an Enneagram Assessment to discover more about the client's motivators and communication style, interests, goals and objectives. Finally, coach and client design how they will work together, and signoff on coaching logistics within the agreement. What does it cost? Coaching rates vary according to the type of agreement, but typically includes up to two hours of coaching per month, with follow up and accountability support between sessions. How long will I need to be coached? Many coaching relationships last 6 to 12 months, and occasionally even longer. However, change takes time and commitment to the process. For this reason the initial minimum commitment required is 9 sessions. • Strategic Planning and Facilitation • Communications Enhancement Tools Gillian uses the following workstyle personality typing tools to support her coaching and consultation services: • True Colors™ - a fun, informative, communication system that provides the keys to success. Based on the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator and the work of Dr. David Keirsey, True Colors offers a research-based approach to understanding human behavior and motivation. True Colors uses a metaphor of colors (gold, orange, blue, and green) to identify four distinct perspectives and personalities. • Enneagram The Enneagram helps to show us our core issues, but also points out effective ways of dealing with them. This enormously valuable tool concerns itself with one element that is fundamental to all spiritual paths; self knowledge. The Enneagram is a development of modern psychology that has roots in spiritual wisdom from many different ancient traditions.
The word Enneagram (pronounced "ANY-a-gram") comes from the Greek words ennea ('nine') and gram ('something written or drawn') and refers to the nine points on the Enneagram symbol. The nine different Enneagram styles, identifed as numbers One through Nine, reflect distinct habits of thinking, feeling, and behaving, with each style connected to a unique path of development. Each of us has only one place, or number, on the Enneagram; while our Enneagram style remains the same throughout our lifetime, the characteristics of our style may either soften or become more pronounced as we grow and develop.

Improving Communication (Full Day)
Communication is more than talking and listening. Genuine communication requires a deep understanding of another person’s perspective. This program shows participants how to read other people and see how others interpret their behaviors. It leaves them with a gut-level appreciation for their co-workers. The program helps participants adapt their communication styles in a way that creates an enduring working alliance among members.
Managing Conflict and Resistance (Full Day)
Working with so-called difficult employees can be one of a manager’s biggest headaches. People often times come across as difficult because they handle conflict differently than we do. This program provides managers with a simple, direct way to understand the different fears that drive much of the conflict and resistance they see. Participants will learn how and why different people become threatened and discover skills for relating more effectively with people of all styles.
Using your strengths to your advantage (Full Day)
It’s no secret that some of us seem to have more natural social skill than others. But the truth is that we all have our own interpersonal strengths. Truly effective people know their talents and find opportunities to maximize their skills. This program helps participants pinpoint their unique strengths and shows them how they can get the most out of their talents.
Making the Most of your time - Time Mastery (Full Day) (8 session Tele-seminar)
Setting priorities and managing time are basic to enhancing individual and organizational performance. The pressure to find innovative ways to achieve goals, stay ahead of the competition, respond quickly to customer needs, and enjoy life outside of work is increasingly intense in today's less structured, information-driven workplace. Meeting the daily challenges of managing professional and personal responsibilities requires a learning strategy that focuses on individual needs. The Time Mastery workshop helps people assess their time-management effectiveness and create a personal plan for improving their skills in key areas.
Getting the most from your Key Contributors (Half Day)
Even the best performers get stagnated from time to time. But before managers can help them out of their rut, they need to understand the situation and why the person is having difficulty. This program helps managers read the situational needs of their key contributors and adjust their management style accordingly. They’ll learn some fundamental strategies for reading the willingness and ability of the people they manage as well as the most effective approaches in each situation.
Improving Team Effectiveness (Full Day)
Think about the first work team you were on. You probably quickly discovered that each person had a unique way of doing things. Sometimes team differences are easily accepted and laughed about, but too frequently teams find that those differences can also cause confusion, stagnation, or frustration. This program addresses three of the most common challenges that teams face; motivation, conflict, and communication. Participants learn simple, intuitive ways to make lasting improvements in a team’s effectiveness.
