Decide

Two of the most powerful words to raise your energy and gain the support of your universal crew of helpers are, “I decide.”

I’ve written about the power of making decisions before, but now I want to take a few moments of your time to tell you my most recent story in the hope that it will inspire you to make a decision.

It was clear to me that my indecisiveness about career, health and an assortment of small undones were getting me no where. I couldn’t get out of my way, and I was very frustrated. At times, my mind was like a dog on a leash, pulling me in every direction. Mental exhaustion was setting in and affecting my perspective, which gave me cause to ask myself “If you were coaching a client what questions would you ask to help them find their answers?’’

My list was long, but here are few of the good ones:

Do you want to grow in this career?
What radical change might jumpstart your journey?
What if your current career didn’t matter?
Have you chosen success?
What is beyond this obstacle?
Are you willing to give this up to move in a new direction?
What is the gap between what you love and what you are doing?
How important is this to you?
I’m always amazed at the results that come from asking the right questions, even when you ask them of yourself. I realized that my mental paralysis was due in part to thinking I had to do everything now.

I set my intention on three things that would let my universal crew know I was ready, willing and open to receiving all the assistance they wanted throw my way.

I changed my full time work arrangement to make space and time to grow my personal development coaching practice;

I’ve moved into my new home office (my husband has the other one) and continue to decorate it with furnishings and knick knacks that reflect who I am today, (what a great feeling), and last but not least,
I hired a Coach to help me with my fitness goals
The results so far are amazing. My telephone has started ringing, and people that I haven’t seen for years are showing up and giving me very good business leads. Physically I feel great. Just knowing that I have someone to help me reach my fitness goals is both energizing and motivating.

And so I ask you, what have you decided, and what is your intention right now? Once you name it, all systems are go.
